Always a bargain here! The sandwiches are huge and freshly made. Great selections of bread and toppings...even cranberry sauce for your turkey sandwich!

The food and service are always great. I've NEVER had a bad MEAL there. The steak and cheese or tuna sandwich are my favorites.

I just love this place. The sandwich ingredients are the quality you would select at home, if you could. The turkey was fantastic, and is enough for me to have for two days if I can control myself. I also tried the roast beef, which was very tender. I was going to order ham, changed my mind when I saw how good the roast beef looked (because they carve it right in front of you) and forgot what I ordered. I was pleasantly surprised that I got roast beef, and glad that I tried it. After some time has passed after my thanksgiving turkey, I will be back for more turkey! I get it on rye with some mayo and cranberry sauce!

I really like this place. An easy walk from Union Station and where my office is. Every morning I stop and get an outstanding blueberry muffin. At lunch as one of their menu items they have carved meat sandwiches. Truley wonderful.

Never had a better sandwich in my life. The highest quality ingredients, that just makes something so simple, so great.

They don't skimp and they are nice. The portions are well sized, a good value yet not gut-busting. They serve good tasting food to hungry customers at decent prices. The place is bustling for a reason and even a longer lunch line moves super fast. There are 40+ options within 10 minutes walking or scooting, but hundreds keep coming back every lunch for a reason. You'd have to pay out the nose to get as much protein on a salad from a fast-casual chain. The lady that makes the salads is particularly sweet as is the counter and deli staff. Plenty of seating as well.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before visiting the African American History museum. The place was clean, the people were nice, courteous and helpful. We ordered 2 turkey sandwiches on a croissant and the amount of meat was sufficient and they had the cranberry ginger ale that we love this time of year.

This place has exceptional muffins (blueberry, chocolate chip, French toast, banana nut). I only had two of them, but both were excellent. I also had an egg sandwich on a bagel and it was great. The service is outstanding, everything is made to order the muffins are fresh and even hot if you get there early in the morning. The place was clean with lots of seating

I forgot my lunch and had been hearing a lot about Phillips, so decided to take the walk. The line was actually less long than expected and told so I was excited about that and the food looks very fresh. I decided to get a turkey club added, bacon and dressed up how I wanted to with a side of kettle chips and a brookie. To my surprise, this was totaled to about $20. The price is outrageous, I probably won't be returning, unless I am treated or forget my lunch again and reach starvation however, it was a pretty good sandwich. I will give them that. The brookie was OK as well. - I'm glad I had my bottled water at my desk lol

I have to say that I appreciate a set small menu offering that is done right. You'll get this at SBP. With a sandwich chips and drink, expect to pay around $15. That's a good price for DC. Even during the rush it only took about 5 minutes to order and get my food. That's fast for made to order meals. All in all, I was impressed. Give them a try.
